As a multi-instrumentalist & producer, I'm often asked to 'replay' exact copies of samples for artists who have sampled someone else's music in their record but can't obtain or afford clearance for it.

I began learning this skill while programming and arranging for cover bands in the eighties and soon found myself tackling the productions of heavyweight samplers PM Dawn and other hip hop artists. Now my replay work comes from all forms of music where samples are used.
